Sonos is an American company which basically deals in speakers. It was founded by John MacFarlane, Craig Shelburne, Tom Cullen and Trung Mai in 2002 in California. This company had a vision to create wireless service.
After so many years now Sonos provides easy to use wireless home sound systems, this company is quite famous for the smart speakers it provides. Sonos has partnered with several other companies between 2011 and 2014 which adds to their catalog of services. Finally you need a stable internet connection or a Wifi to make this work.
Plex is one of the best media streaming devices which makes it very simple for you to access all your media content. - First of all you need to have Plex version 1.10.0 or later to use Plex service for Sonos.
- Download Plex for your mobile device or desktop computer, which is also your Sonos controller.
- Open ‘Add Music Services’.
- Select ‘Plex’ and choose ‘Add to Sonos’
- Now simply link Plex service with your existing Plex account or create a new account.
